- About Administration Division Manager:
Works within the Office of Public Health Director and leads all elements of administration, accreditation, budget, finance, strategic plan and supervision of staff in the Division. This division manager is also responsible for public health informatics (systematic application of information, computer science, and technology to public health practice, research, and learning).
Essential Functions

- Prepares complex analyses and reports in the preparation, maintenance, and control of Linn County Public Health’s (LCPH) operating budget.
- Designs and implements budget enhancements.
- Analyzes and prepares accurate financial data and reports to health director, division managers, and Board of Health (BOH) and Board of Supervisors (BOS).
- Leads agency activities for quality improvement, strategic planning, accreditation, and performance management.
- Supervises the branch of Account Technicians, Information Technology staff, and administrative support staff; also supervises the emergency preparedness staff and the assessment and health promotion division staff.
- Manages agency informatics and data systems.
- Establishes administrative office procedures and policies relating to mail processing, data entry of in-house computer information, financial and budget. Verify accuracy and completeness of said information.
- Participates in Public Health Ready, DAEC drills, and other emergency preparedness activities.
- Performs assigned duties while Public Health Director is out of the office and represents him/her to meetings when needed.

The Housing Project Specialist will work within the Environmental Health and Preparedness division to support multiple federally funded housing repair grants and provide other administrative support for the division. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for families, processing program applications, auditing documentation, determining program eligibility, corresponding with enrollees, creating bid packets, maintaining the lead-safe housing registry, assisting with lien recording, tracking data, and updating various databases. This position is supported by grant funding and is contingent upon the continued availability of funds. If grant funding is reduced or discontinued before the anticipated end date, employment may be terminated. Continuation of this role beyond the funding period is not guaranteed and will depend on future funding availability.
